Mistress Lynne smelled like what $177,000 in cash should smell like, purple, thanks to Kane Voss.

Good Boy — Mistress Lynne's Bedside Cage, Private Quarters

I was in my place when she came home. That is where I am. That is where I stay. I will not be elaborating on this because there is nothing to elaborate on. It is simply the fact of my life, and it is a good fact. Mistress Lynne's scent, her presence, the particular quality of the air when she returns from picking up cash from a session: these things land on me the way weather lands on someone who has decided to stand outside in it on purpose. Fully. Without complaint. She smelled like purple.

I am being a little poetic. She smelled like whatever a $177,000 scene smells like when it goes exactly the way Mistress Lynne planned it. Which is to say: she smelled like success. Her success. She always does.

I have since read the blog post by Mistress Lynne. I have read it three times, in fact, each time experiencing something I can only describe as the quiet satisfaction of a student who studied for the exam watching a classmate discover, in real time, that there was an exam.

To Kane Voss of The Deception Dungeon. I want to say something charitable here, because that is the kind of submissive I am. I am the good kind. I am, in fact, the best kind. This is documented, if not by any formal institution then certainly by the ruler Mistress Lynne applied to the relevant question some time ago. I came away from that particular measurement with my dignity and several other things intact. So I approach Kane with genuine warmth when I tell him: darling, the purple dress was the least expensive thing that happened to you that day.

Let us review the afternoon.

The glam team arrived. The full team. Not a courtesy arrangement, not a suggestion. The complete professional apparatus of transformation descended on The Deception Dungeon with intent. Custom-fitted purple gown. Full makeup. A blonde wig from what Mistress Lynne herself described as "the finest queen in all the lands." I want you to sit with that for a moment. Sit with the specificity of it. A finest-queen wig. A gown tailored to his body. The kind of detail that does not happen to men who are merely clients. It happens to men who are being made into something Mistress Lynne has decided to make them into, which is a different and considerably more expensive category of experience.

$177,000. Glam included.

He paid it. He was there. He was transformed. He stood in The Deception Dungeon in his purple gown and his finest-queen wig and he became, by all accounts, a genuinely convincing purple princess. This is, objectively, not the funny part.

The funny part is what he did not pay for. The cum contract sits at $1,000,000. I do not know Kane Voss's precise financial situation and it is not my place to speculate, but I can observe that a man who pre-pays $177,000 for a gown and a glam team and then does not pre-pay the next contract is a man making a choice. He made that choice. He stood there in his purple gown and his beautiful wig and he remained in chastity, which is genuinely funny. The princess had a castle and no kingdom. This is the part of the fairy tale nobody writes.

I remain in chastity too. I want to be very clear about the difference.

Mine is not a gap in a contract. Mine is not a thing I have not yet gotten around to. Mine is the form my life takes. When Mistress Lynne's name enters my mind, and it enters my mind with some frequency, the chastity is part of that name. It is not a subtraction. It is not a condition I am managing. It is mine in the way that her scent on my face is mine: completely, and without resentment, and in a way that I suspect Kane Voss does not yet have the vocabulary to understand.

He will, perhaps. He is in The Deception Dungeon for a reason. The dungeon tends to locate the exact nerve.

And then there was the thought.

During the scene. A thought about deception. In the Deception Dungeon. Presided over by Mistress Lynne.

I genuinely do not know what he expected. The dungeon is not called that because it decorates nicely. The thought cost him $50,000, cash, due tomorrow. This is what I mean when I say he failed an open-book exam. The subject was written above the door. The lesson was in the room. He had $177,000 worth of context. He still managed to have the wrong thought.

I am in awe, a little. Genuinely. It takes a specific and rather impressive talent to miss the point that completely while wearing a gown fitted to your exact measurements.

Mistress Lynne is extraordinary. She built a dungeon that will find the thing in a man that needs finding, dress it in purple silk, and send it home $50,000 lighter for the thought it had while wearing the silk. This is mastery. This is what she does. This is why I am where I am.

Kane is not where I am. He is in The Deception Dungeon, and he owes tomorrow. He has a $50,000 morning ahead of him and a memory of excellent cheekbones in a blonde wig. I hope the wig was worth it. Knowing Mistress Lynne's glam team, it probably was. That much, at least, he got right.

In her service. Always.
